Refund Policy

Last updated: August 2026

This policy explains how refunds work for bookings and contributions made through The Conscious Community.

1. General Refund Principles

We want you to feel confident booking through The Conscious Community. This Refund Policy explains when and how refunds are processed. Specific cancellation terms may vary by listing and will be displayed on the listing page.

2. Eligible Refunds

You may be eligible for a refund in the following circumstances:

  • The vendor cancels your booking.
  • The service is significantly different from what was described in the listing.
  • The vendor does not provide the service at the scheduled time.
  • You cancel within the listing's free cancellation window (displayed at booking).
  • A technical error results in an incorrect charge.

3. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds are generally not available when:

  • You cancel outside the listing's free cancellation window.
  • You do not arrive for the booking (no-show).
  • You arrive but decline the service without a valid reason covered by this policy.
  • The booking has already been completed and the service was provided as described.
  • The cancellation is due to personal circumstances not covered by the listing's policy.

4. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, contact our support team through the platform or via the support page. Include your booking reference and the reason for the request. Refund requests are reviewed and processed within 5–10 business days.

5. Refund Processing

Approved refunds are processed back to the original payment method through Stripe. Refund timing depends on your bank or card issuer and may take 5–10 business days to appear on your statement.

6. Partial Refunds

In some cases, a partial refund may be offered (e.g. if part of a service was not delivered). Partial refunds are calculated proportionally. Commission and platform fees are adjusted proportionally for partial refunds.

7. Commission Reversal

When a refund is issued, any ambassador commission attributed to the transaction is reversed proportionally. Full refunds result in full commission reversal; partial refunds result in proportional commission reversal. This ensures the financial system remains balanced and fair.

8. Regenerative Hub Allocation Reversal

The 1% Regenerative Hub Fund allocation is also reversed proportionally when a refund is issued, ensuring the fund reflects only completed transactions.

9. Fundraising Contributions

Fundraising contributions to ReGen Fund projects and Research Hub projects are generally non-refundable once the project has received the funds, as contributions are passed to the project. If a contribution is refunded (e.g. due to project cancellation), the 1% platform fee is also reversed proportionally.

10. Disputes

If you disagree with a refund decision, you may escalate the matter through our support team. If the matter cannot be resolved, you may pursue other remedies available under applicable consumer protection laws.
