The platform exposes a modular integration layer: a Stripe-backed payment gateway, an entity-event-driven automation engine (workflows), a notification service, calendar sync, maps, and CSV import/export.

Every integration is optional and replaceable. Frontend talks to Base44 entities & backend functions; backend functions (Deno) handle secrets and external APIs.
